Merry Christmas

I just love Christmas, don't you? In keeping with the theme of my site, I have created a Christmas page with a bovine flair. I have some wonderful Christmas cows to share with you. I hope you enjoy your visit. I wish you a Blessed and Joyous Christmas. I have a small gift for you. It's located at the bottom of my page. Please take it with you when you leave.

Lights for the Christmas Tree!

Putting the star on top of the tree!

Skating by with a gift for you.

Here are a few bovine Santas from my collection.

A few of Santa's helpers

Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the farm,
Not a creature was stirring
Not even in the barn.
The milk cans were hung
By the barn door with care
In hopes that Santa Cow
Soon would be there.
The calfs were all nestled
In soft bales of hay
While visions of mild duds
In their heads did play.
And Ma in her kerchief
And me in my cap
Settled in for a long
Winters nap.
When out in the field
There came such a clatter
We jumped form our stalls
To see what was the matter.
Away to the barn door
I flew like a flash
Ran out in the yard
The moon big and bright
Gave such light to below
When out of the shaddows
A sight did glow.
But what to my wanddering
Eyes should appear
A miniature slay
And eight holsteins so dear.
With a little old driver
Full of know how
I knew in a moment
It must be Santa Cow
More rapid than eagles
His courses they came
And he whistled and shouted
And called them by name.
Now Dasher, Now Dancer,
Now Prancer, And Vixon,
On Comet, On Cupid,
On Donner, And Blitzen!
To the top of the barn
To the top of the silow
Now dash away, dash away
Dash away all!
As dry leaves that before the
Wild hurricaine fly
When they meet with an obstacle
Mount to the sky
So up to the barn top
The courses they fley
With a sleigh full of goodies
Santa Cow too!
And then in a twinkling
I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each tiny hoof.
As I turned from the barn yard
A sight I did see
Santa Cow did appear
For us all to see.
He was dressed all in fur
From his head to his hooves
A sack of goodies
He had thrown over his shoulder
His eyes how they sparkled
His dimples how merry
And his big belly shook like a bowl full of jelly
He spoke not a word,
But went right to work
Filling those milk cans
Then turning with a jerk
Laying a hoof along side of his nose
Up to the barn roof he rose.
He jumped in the sleigh
To his team gave a whistle
And away they all flew
Like the down of a thistle
But I heard him exclaim
As he flew out of site
Happy Christmas to all
And to all a MOO night!
